Cape Cod Inn Hyannis, Hyannis

The motel was a good value for money with decent-sized, clean rooms and comfortable beds. However, a scary incident in the parking lot behind the motel was unsettling, and the older carpet could use an update.

I chose this hotel mainly for its central location in Hyannis, which provided easy access to shops and restaurants on Main St The rooms, though needing some repair, were acceptable with basic furnishings. However, the bathroom could use a makeover and better cleaning. The service was always available when needed, even if the staff was away from the desk, making it a nice added bonus. Unfortunately, the dining experience left something to be desired as breakfast started too late for my schedule, and the lack of variety was disappointing.

The hotel has very clean rooms that lack the typical musty smell. Although they appear a bit tired and could use upgrading, they come equipped with a hair dryer and iron/board. The service provided by the warm and inviting staff was awesome, showing courtesy and helpfulness. The location is ideal for exploring Hyannis, within easy walking distance of the town, harbor, restaurants, and park. The dining options, while limited, consisted of basic items like bagels and cornflakes on polystyrene plates.
